The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

The present Data Protection Act was replaced on the 25th May 2018 by the GDPR.
The regulation requires you to give specific permission to a database owner to keep your personal details on a database for the use it is intended.

You are on the Porlock & District Bowling Club's database for membership purposes and to be contacted for matches and other events.  The database includes all or some of the following:-

Your Name & Address, Email address, your land line and/or mobile telephone number

Please complete and submit the form below as soon as possible to confirm that you consent for this information to be kept on the database.

CONSENT is required from each individual otherwise your data will have to be removed. Separate submissions are required from each Playing & Social member

Consequences of not giving permission.

Unfortunately should you not give permission to remain on the database, we will not be able to contact you for any reason as the Club will not be able to hold any contact details for you, not even a telephone number.

The Penalties for holding a database or sharing a database without permission are around £75,000 if proven.
